Terms of Service

ExtraKhaata lets contractors record extra work, send it to their customers for approval on WhatsApp, track payments, and share statements. We are improving it continuously and may add, change or remove features.

You log in with a one-time code sent to your WhatsApp number. Keep access to your phone secure: actions taken from your account are treated as yours. You must give accurate information about yourself and your business.

• Only add supervisors and customers who have agreed to receive WhatsApp messages from ExtraKhaata about your work.
• Make sure the work descriptions and prices you send are accurate.
• Do not use ExtraKhaata to send spam, misleading or unlawful content, or to message people unrelated to your projects.

ExtraKhaata records what was sent, to whom, and when it was approved or rejected. This record helps avoid disputes, but it does not replace your contract with your customer, and we are not a party to that contract or to any payment between you.

The service is free for businesses in our pilot. Paid plans start at ₹999 per month, plus applicable taxes, as listed on our pricing page, and begin with a free trial. We will tell you before any charge begins, and you can stop using the service at any time.

We aim to keep ExtraKhaata available at all times, but it depends on third parties such as WhatsApp and our hosting providers, and may sometimes be interrupted. Messages may also be delayed or not delivered for reasons outside our control.

To the extent allowed by law, ExtraKhaata is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for disputes between contractors and their customers. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

You can stop using ExtraKhaata at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or misuse WhatsApp messaging.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We may update them as the service changes and will inform account holders of important changes.
